OCCUPATION IN HOLLAND
Stamps was issued in 1942 by the German Nazi Dictatorship Government durring the Occupation in Holland (The Netherlands) to pay tribute to the Nazi Dutch Legionnaires who fought alongside the German Werhmacht. The stamps depict a Dutch Leggionaires in German Werhmacht uniform with the Nazi Leggionaire's Insignia. The Unit fought on the Eastern Front in Russia in the Nazi "Anti-bolchevik Crusade", where it fought well and suffered and exceedinggly high casualty rate it had an excellent combat reputation and distinguished itself at the Battle of Narva.
