October/November / 2019.

PAINTING:

Before to start the paint, I applied a coat of white Primer (#A.MIG-2004 - Surface Primer/AMMO-MIG).   The consistency is very thin so you have to give it at least 4 to 5 layers and not do not bring the airbrush too close to the model because puddles can be made.  (2 small lint in the cupola were removed.).

After of wait 1 day in apliyng primer, I painted with A.MIG-010 (RAL 7028) Dunkelgelb 80% mixed with Acrilyc Thinner 20%, A.MIG-2000.

Preparing for camouflage using Parafilm in order to mask on back of skirts.   The Parafilm is sensational to mask as it is very maneuverable, it stretches until the part to be covered is adjusted.

Camouflage with Olive-green splotches over the skirts, I remember this camouflage since some years ago. I used A.MIG-002, Olivgrün (RAL6003) 80% mixed with 20% with A.MIG-2000, Acrilyc Thinner.

Splotches in the rest of the tank are ready!. Again I used A.MIG-002, Olivgrün (RAL6003) 80% mixed with 20% with A.MIG-2000, Acrilyc Thinner. Next step: paint the tools, box, wheels, tracks, etc.

Painting details:   Rear,  convoy light and louvre with Vallejo / #70969,Park-green Flat.    Belts of Fire extinguisher with Vallejo / #981, Orange-brown.   Cutting tongs, A.MIG-045, Metal and A.MIG-913, Bakelite.   Metal bars, jack and hooks for tow cables (shackles), A.MIG-045, Metal.    Shovel, ax and hammer, A.MIG-045 Metal + A.MIG-036, Old-wood & A.MIG-913, Red-brown base.   Cleaning Rod, A.MIG-043 Shadow-rust and A.MIG-036 Old wood.

Inside of Cupola and hatch, painted with: A.MIG-017 (RAL9001), Cremeweiss, Periscopes, A.MIG-096, Crystal Periscope Green and interior head pad of hatch with Vallejo #70871, Leather Brown and handles, A.MIG-045 Metal

Replacement tracks painted with A.MIG-035, Dark-tracks.

Preparing detail in the exhaust muffler.   I am appliyng white glue mixed with water.

Here I altern MIG pigments, P230, Old-rust + P025, Standard-rust + P024, Light-rust and finally a light touch with black pigment on the supports and nozzle of exhaust muffler.   Last step is to add some AK (MIG) Pigment Fixer enamel fluid droplets.

Masking to treat wheels and tracks using Pebeo "Drawing Gum" ( Liquid Frisket ) and Parafilm.

After airbrushing the tracks and wheels, I need touch them up and to proceed to start the weathering.  For tracks I used Vallejo #70862, Black-grey and for wheels I used A.MIG-035, Dark-tracks. (During this phase, the back of the wheels were obscured but there is no problem because with the weathering will be resolved.)

Finished the paint and details retouching tracks and wheels. Next and last step: Decals. Finally the Panzer is ready for start the weathering.

Decals: I placed them belonging from: 6./Panzer Regiment 3, 2.Panzer Division, Kursk 1943.  Note:  Pic number 3: Carefully I thinned this area (arm of skirt) for mark an impact.  Maybe I will be mark some more impacts in another areas.
